Our Story

Built with Purpose: Our Journey of Youth Development & Civic Responsibility

Young leadership training and collaboration session

Established to support national development efforts, Youths on Ground Progressive and Mentorship Initiative (YOG) promotes structured youth engagement through community-based skills acquisition, capacity building, mindset transformation, and strategic networking.

Civic Involvement & Leadership

A progressive nation depends on active youth participation politics. We prioritize civic responsibility, leadership values, and democratic advocacy among Nigerian youth.
Mindset Transformation

We address real issues with honesty and care, working to combat substance abuse, social vices, and violence through continuous counseling and sensitization.
Agro-Tech & Technology Focus

We adopt progressive agricultural technologies and modern skills training to equip young entrepreneurs for economic independence.

About Us

On August 5, 2025, Youths on Ground Progressive and Mentorship Initiative (YOG) was created and formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. Our mandate was clear: to channel the energy of Nigerian youths into purposeful leadership, mentorship, and grassroots empowerment.

Guided by our Board of Trustees Chairman, His Excellency Mallam Dr. Isa Yuguda CON, Matawallen Bauchi, we set out with a bold 10-million-member vision—not as a slogan, but as a deliberate plan to register, train, and mobilize young people at every State, LGA and Ward level for nation building.
